Welcome!!

Hello and welcome to my Dieting and Fitness Solutions blog! I have learned as an avid food lover and expert in lounging about, that staying healthy with a proper diet and fitness program isn't easy, nor is it for everybody.


It's tough to stay in shape, lose weight, get killer abs and muscle definition when your favorite things to do include eating, drinking, and relaxing. While I love doing these three things, my health and appearance is important to me. One day I realised that I was almost 30. I took a good look at myself in the proverbial (and literal) mirror. At 5'9", I weighed 235lbs. I had very little energy. I was developing man boobs(eek!)


Gone were the athleticism, great body, and good health(I felt like crap all the time) of my early 20's. I had to make a change. Like everyone else I tried the newest diet fads (Atkins Diet anyone?) I hit the gym. I did like every other out of shape, fat, 30 something food addict has ever done and failed at.


Diets don't work for me for probably the same reason they don't work for the majority of Americans, WE LOVE TO EAT!!! The other reason diets don't work is because everyone is different. What works for one, doesn't work for all.


I have found things that work for me. I am far from where I'd like to be at the time of writing this and have a long time to go. A lifetime of staying healthy while not giving up the things I love.


Here I will share the experiences I have already had, and hope you will follow me on the journey still to come and learn something along the way!
